A motorcyclist took off his helmet and sat on a K-Rail before surrendering to police on a freeway offramp in Corona on Thursday after a high-speed chase that spanned two Southern California counties on freeways after dark.
The motorcyclist zig zagged through traffic, at some points splitting lanes and slipping within inches between cars and other motorcycles along several freeways.
At some points, he wove through side streets then hopped back onto freeways through East Los Angeles, downtown LA, and Orange County.
The chase ended in Corona when the motorcyclist stopped on an offramp, and surrendered.
The pursuit started when police tried to pull him over for speeding, the California Highway Patrol said.
