Two people were rescued after they were trapped in the wreckage of a car involved in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday in Northridge.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to peel back part of a one car's roof, allowing them to remove two occupants.
Four people were hospitalized. Their conditions ranged from fair to critical.
Details about what led to the crash in the 17700 block of West Plummer Street were not immediately available.
