A person was sent to a hospital in unknown condition after being struck by a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy's cruiser in Lynwood Monday night.
The person was struck about 6:30 p.m. on Long Beach Boulevard, near Burton Avenue, according to Sgt. Benjamin Grubb of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The deputy was also taken to a hospital, Grubb said. The conditions of the civilian and deputy were not released.
