Los Angeles police Wednesday named a Pennsylvania couple as suspects in the dismemberment a Hollywood man, whose body parts were found in a downtown hotel.
Herbert Tracy White, 49, was found dismembered Nov. 29 in the Continental Hotel at 802 E. Seventh St., he said.
White probably met the couple in Hollywood, and the motivate was robbery, Baitx said.
A hotel maid found a backpack with part of the body in it, and the rest of the body parts were found under the bed, wrapped in a blanket, Baitx said.
The victim's limbs were removed from the body, which was in five parts, Baitx said. A knife was also recovered at the scene, Baitx said.
