Police Release Video of Shooting Outside Silver Lake Night Club

Police Thursday released video of a shooting in Silver Lake that left a man wounded.

It happened following an argument that broke out about 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, inside a business in the 3000 block of Sunset Boulevard, where a suspect was removed from the premises by a security guard and one other man, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The suspect became enraged, removed a handgun from his waistband and shot the additional male," according to a police statement. "The suspect entered a dark-colored, four-door Range Rover and fled east on Sunset Boulevard."

Firefighters took the victim to a hospital, where he was treated and later released, police said.

The suspect is described as Asian, about 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 150 pounds.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or had information about the shooting was urged to call detectives at the LAPD's Rampart Station at (213) 484-3660.
