Police Seek Help to Find Missing Pacoima Boy

The search for 11 year-old David Juarez continues on Tuesday.

Los Angeles police continued their plea for the public's help today to locate a missing 11-year-old boy.

David Juarez was last seen about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the front yard of his home in the 14000 block of Daventry Avenue, near Richie Valens Park, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's media relations.

His parents hoped he would return home on his own and did not report him missing until 4:30 p.m. yesterday.

"What bothers us is he lives just three blocks from the Pacoima Wash," Foothill Station Detective Ed Dorroh told City News Service yesterday. "He's probably going to turn up at a friend's house. But it's been raining since before Saturday, so that's a concern."

David is described as Latino with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 1 inch tall and about 65 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about David's whereabouts was urged to call the Foothill Station at (818) 756-8861.
