Police have arrested a man and were searching for a second suspect in connection with the fatal beating of a bouncer at a Redondo Beach bar.
The fight went down at Pat’s II Cocktail Lounge in the 1300 block of South Pacific Coast Highway after the bouncer tried to escort out two men who were trying to get in after last call early Saturday.
Police were searching for Francisco “Frank” Cobarruvias Jr.
He's believed to be driving a black 1999 BMW 528i with chrome rims and a California license plate number # 4GTT805.
Cobarruvias is believed to be travelling with his three children, ages 3 to 11.
Police arrested Alejandro Avina, 30, at noon Saturday, in connection with the case. He was being held at the Los Angeles County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
Redondo Beach Police Sgt. Shawn Freeman told the Daily Breeze that surveillance cameras captured the incident.

Mourners on Sunday paid tribute to "Terry" at a makeshift memorial outside the bar.
“He was a big, intimidating-looking guy, but he was a real nice, nice man,” said Paul Robles. “Lot of sadness.”
Brooke Owens, who works at a flower shop nearby, told CBSLA “He was just a really nice guy. One of those guys who would do anything for anybody.”
