Eighties rocker Rick Springfield was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI Sunday night on Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu area.
The "Jessie's Girl" singer was driving a 1963 Corvette when he was pulled over by the LA County Sheriff's Department around 8 p.m. for a traffic violation, according to the sheriff's department.
When officers approached the vehicle, they noticed the smell of booze and asked Springfield to perform several field sobriety tests, deputies said.
Police said Springfield's blood alcohol content was measured at .10. The legal limit in California is .08.
Springfield was taken to a nearby jail where he was booked and eventually released on $5,000 bail.
A court appearance was scheduled for July 5.
