A woman drove through a freeway work zone late Monday, leading to a pursuit that ended with a spinout on the 5 Freeway north of Los Angeles.
The chase involving a Volkswagen Jetta when California Highway Patrol office used a patrol SUV to spin the car. The PIT maneuver on the northbound 5 Freeway brought the chase to an end in Castaic shorty after 11 p.m.
The driver was arrested.
The pursuit began after she drove through a Caltrans work zone on the 5 Freeway near its interchange with the 2 Freeway in the Elysian Park area.
