A suspected drunk driver was taken into custody late Wednesday night after leading police in a pursuit that ended with the driver hiding out in a Pacoima home.
The chase, which lasted more than 45 minutes, made its way through surface streets in the San Fernando Valley before the driver ditched the moving pickup truck in Pacoima. The truck continued rolling and hit a parked car.
The driver fled through several backyards before going inside a home near the intersection of
Wentworth Street and Woodale Avenue. He was taken into custody about an hour later.
