WALNUT, Calif. -- As part of a fundraising event, some Southland teachers on Friday shared a few smooches with Miss Lucy, a surprisingly adorable 90-pound, 9-month-old female pig.
Although kissing a pig doesn't seem like a traditional Valentine's Day romance (no offense to Miss Lucy), the event raised funds for Oswalt Academy's laptop program.
Amid "kiss the pig" chants, a teacher from each grade level planted a wet one on Miss Lucy, who based on her squealing, never seemed to really enjoy the making out.
The love fest, held at 19501 Shadow Oak Drive in Walnut, Calif., raised more than $3,000.
