Credit Repair Business Owner Shot, Killed

A man was murdered in the parking lot of a Stevenson Ranch business park Tuesday night.

The shooting occurred at 6:30 p.m. at 26650 The Old Road, said Deputy Lillian Peck.  A Wells Fargo Bank anchors the business park.

The 37 year old man reportedly went to the parking lot around 6:30 p.m. after attending his Christmas party and was shot right next to his BMW.  People inside the holiday party heard the gunshot and ran outside.

The victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.  No description of the suspect was released.

No word yet from Los Angeles Sheriff murders detectives as to motive.

An witness said the man worked at a credit repair business and was a father.

Detectives continued to interview witnesses Tuesday night.   No motive release although a detective at the scene said it was not gang related.

The victim was described as "Iranian" by the dectective.   Investigators know who the victim is but were not releasing his name.
