ARCADIA - Access to about 1,000 acres in the area north of the Angeles Crest (32) Highway near Cooper Canyon will remain closed until Jan. 1 for the sake of the mountain yellow-legged frog.
The U.S. Forest Service said Monday that it's following guidelilnes for protecting the habitat of the endangered frog under the terms of the Endangered Species Act.
