Three California Powerball Ticket Holders Will Split $2.4M Prize

Three Powerball tickets sold in California had five of the six winning numbers, California Lottery said Sunday.

One of those tickets was bought at a 7-Eleven in Long beach on the 1100 Block of Redondo Avenue, according to California Lottery. The other two tickets were sold in Capitola in Santa Cruz County, and Sunnyvale in Santa Clara County.

The three winners will split the 5/5 California prize of $2,355,195, and will walk away with $785,065 before federal taxes. The tickets had winning numbers 11-17-21-23-32, but were missing the Powerball number five.

Starting on Monday at 8 a.m., the winners can claim their tickets. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
