Yeehaa: Horse Rescued From Mud

No more horsing around, the bucket brigade is here

Rescuers worked overnight to free a horse trapped in a pit of mud.

Crews used buckets to clear mud from around the animal, which was trapped near the Santa Ana River in Norco. As the mud level decreased, crew members pulled and the horse thrashed its way from the bog.

About 30 volunteers, firefighters and animal control officers helped free the horse. The rescue took about six hours.
