A woman and man were fatally stabbed Tuesday in Baldwin Park.
The deaths occurred about 11:50 a.m. in the 4200 block of Center Street, according to Deputy Charles Moore of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Headquarters Bureau.
Baldwin Park police officers went to the location for a welfare check and found both victims with upper body stab wounds, Moore said.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Breann Tang-Daggi, one of the couple's neighbors, said the discovery was grim.
"People just want to be with their families," she said.
It was unclear who asked for the welfare check.
