The killing of a mentally ill homeless man by New Mexico cops that was caught on camera caused hundreds of protesters to storm downtown Albuquerque streets late Sunday. The FBI said Friday it was opening an investigation into the shooting of James Boyd, 38, who was camping in an unauthorized area of the city’s Sandia foothills. Meanwhile, online hacktivist collective Anonymous has pledged to keep a cyber spotlight on the Albuquerque Police Department’s problems.
