Facebook has been working on incorporating video and charging millions to advertisers in the process, but users may not be happy when they realize that means unskippable commercials on their news feeds.
Television viewers can fast forward or change the channel on commercials, but on Facebook there will be no such escape, according to Yahoo News. Bloomberg News reported that the ads will be only 15 seconds and users won't see more than three per day. The price for each? That would be $2.5 million per day.

Facebook has pushed back dates on the video ad rollout twice in fear of user response, although Facebook chief and founder Mark Zuckerberg has said that the ads would only be 5 percent of users' news feeds. He also stated to Bloomberg News that the ads would not be "a meaningful drop in satisfaction" for users.
Facebook's ad revenue jumped 53 percent in the second quarter year-over-year, and likely shareholders want to see another rise, so it seems as if the lucrative video ads are here to stay.
But will Facebook users put up with yet another intrusion into their personal space? Facebook seems to think so, and advertisers are hoping to gain from that interruption. Users have only one option, to either accept the ads or to leave in droves, but the latter seems unlikely with more than 1 billion users worldwide.
