In a memoir co-written with her husband, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords vows to return to Congress. Most of the book, "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope," is written by former astronaut Mark Kelly. But the last chapter, "Gabby's Voice," was delivered by the congresswoman herself and consists of a single page of short sentences and phrases. "I will get stronger. I will return," promises Giffords, according to The Associated Press. Kelly also writes about the time his wife learned there were six other casualties in the Tucson shooting that left her critically injured almost a year ago, causing her to weep, and that they were trying to have a baby in the weeks before the tragedy. "Gabby," hitting book stores Nov. 15, is the most personal look into Giffords' and Kelly's experience of the Tuscon tragedy and the months of painful recovery that followed.
