Pentagon Sending 600 More Personnel to Fight Ebola in Africa

The Pentagon is getting ready to send up to 3,600 U.S. military personnel to West Africa to help in the fight against Ebola, NBC News reported. That's 600 more than the Pentagon originally planned to send, and officials said that as many as 4,000 may end up going. The personnel will help lay the groundwork for an overall effort to combat the deadly virus, including the construction of hospitals and medical labs in the affected countries.
