A suspect was hospitalized in unknown condition Saturday morning with wounds she suffered in an officer-involved shooting on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim.
The shooting involved a Fullerton police officer and occurred around 7 p.m. on the freeway near the Kraemer Boulevard exit and prompted the closure of the eastbound lanes of the freeway, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Anaheim police detectives and Orange County District Attorney's office investigators worked to determine the circumstances of the shooting, police said.
The age and name of the suspect was not immediately disclosed.
