Woman Killed in Redondo Beach Hit-and-Run Identified as Search for Driver Continues

The driver is still at large.

Authorities Wednesday identified a woman who was fatally injured in Redondo Beach when she and a fellow pedestrian were struck by a hit-and-run driver, who remains at large.

The pair were in the 1900 block of Artesia Boulevard when they were struck by a white pickup truck about 2 a.m. Monday, Redondo Beach police Lt. Shawn Freeman said.

The coroner's office identified the victim as Iryna Miller, 36, of Redondo Beach.

The other pedestrian, a man whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

No description was released of the motorist, who sped away westbound on Artesia Boulevard.
