Other than a sprinkling of rock, merengue and the lone professional wrestling theme song, when it comes to at-bat music at Dodger Stadium, hip-hop is king.
The team has yet to post player songs online, but in a list sent to NBC4, hip-hop is obvious genre of choice for the Boys in Blue.
The Dodgers front office stressed that the music selection for each player is fluid and could change at any time.
Take last year's famed and slightly whimsical switcheroo involving Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. After letting fans select Katy Perry's "Firework" as his signature song, the slugger went 0 for 8. In a game against the Dodgers, he switched to Justin Bieber's "Baby" and the long-ball magically returned.
While 20 years ago, at-bat music was rare, nowadays, nearly every major leaguer carries a tune. As for the Dodgers, the stadium DJ has tracks for at least 16 out of 40 players.

A team spokesman noted that all music played at games is based on the clean, radio edit.
