Leonard Washington Has History of Violence

Filed under: , USC freshman Leonard Washington has made a name for himself recently, but not in the good way. Washington was ejected from Thursday's game after hitting Blake Griffin. But it turns out that Washington has a history of violence going back to high school.

This video from Kentucky Sports Radio shows Washington hitting current Arkansas freshman Courtney Fortson with a vicious elbow while the two were in high school. (Look at around the 1:00 minute mark.)

Maybe USC should look at the bright side. If Washington continues at this clip, nobody is going to even remember the O.J. Mayo recruiting improprieties. Coach Tim Floyd obviously had to be aware of this when he was recruiting Washington and you have to wonder if he's determined to get the basketball team on probation before the football team does.
