Remember that scene in the movie Risky Business, where Tom Cruise plays a kid who, when he has the house to himself, decides to dance and lip-sync to a certain classic rock song? Sure you do. Well, the folks in charge of advertising for the video game Guitar Hero apparently remembered it too, and used it as inspiration for a new ad campaign featuring Kobe Bryant on the mic doing his best to replicate that classic scene.
Excellent job there by Kobe to completely rock out and sell the performance; that's entirely the point of playing the game! Oh, and did you happen to recognize any of Kobe's band mates? That was New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps on guitars, and skating icon Tony Hawk on the drums. Looks like fun, although if the rest of you decide to give this game a try, promise that you'll at least take the time to put some pants on before doing so.
