Charlie Blackmon, Carlos Gonzalez and Corey Dickerson all homered in the fourth inning for Colorado as the Rockies used their "mile-high" advantage to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-4 at Coors Field on Friday.

The Dodgers book-ended a couple runs in the beginning and end of the game, but it was not enough to overcome a bad start by Mike Bolsinger (6-5) who allowed seven runs on seven hits in just four innings.

"It's embarrassing," Bolsinger said of his struggles. "I might have a little fatigue in my arm, I've been getting tired earlier. I just need to try and finish the season off strong."

David Hale (5-5) picked up the win allowing one run on five hits over five innings in his first start in nearly a month.

Jimmy Rollins opened the scoring in the first inning with a one-out triple to left-center. He would later score on a groundball by Adrian Gonzalez, giving the Dodgers an early 1-0 lead.

Rollins was excellent in his second start since returning to the starting lineup with a finger injury. The veteran shortstop finished 3-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored.

The Rockies would tie the game in the bottom half of the inning with Dickerson singled to right field, scoring Gonzalez.

Two innings later, Dickerson doubled off the wall in left, scoring Gonzalez again, and the Rockies would never look back, piling up six runs in the third and fourth innings.

"The first two innings were fine, but after that it all went downhill," Bolsinger said of the start."

Dickerson went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, three RBIs and two runs scored as the left fielder was a triple shy of the cycle.

Howie Kendrick knocked in two runs in the top of the seventh to cut the lead to three, but the Dodgers were unable to inch closer.

The Dodgers donnybrook from the day before between manager Don Mattingly and Clayton Kershaw seemed all but forgotten a day later in Denver as the player and coach were seen laughing and joking before the game.

"We talked in the weight room," Mattingly said. "I said 'I need that 25 pound weight, you still using it?' He's like 'No, go ahead.' I was good with that."

John Axford worked a perfect ninth inning for his 25th save of the season.

Game Notes:
Rollins first inning triple was his third of the season and the 114th of his career putting him third among all active players.
