Shaquille O'Neal is serious. He wants to buy an NBA team. Shaq is in the twilight of his career with the Suns. After this season, he's got one more year under contract. After that, he wants to become The Big Owner. O'Neal wants to partner with friend and teammate Grant Hill to buy the Orlando Magic when their playing days are through. The two are good friends and have been for years. Shaq said Hill would be the President and O'Neal would serve as General Manager. Once O'Neal is done playing, he plans to inquire about buying the Magic. If they're not selling, he'll find another team that will. Even more intriguing, Shaq was asked if he's ever make a move to get Kobe Bryant on his team. "Of course I would," Shaq said. "He's the best player in the league." So maybe, just maybe, we haven't seen the last of Kobe and Shaq after all.
