Fourth of July revelers have a warm and sunny Independence Day weekend ahead after a cool-down compared to earlier this week.
Friday temperatures in Los Angeles County and the Antelope Valley are expected to be in the high 80s with a slight chance of showers, while Orange County will see highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Riverside County will likely be a bit warmer with temperatures in the upper 80s and mid 90s.

On Saturday, Independence Day, Angelenos can expect temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s in the LA County mountains, San Fernando and Antelope valleys.
Riverside County residents can expect similar temperatures, while the Orange County coast will cool down in the mid 70s. The San Gabriel Valley is expected to have temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
High pressure will continue to flow in from the south and is expected to anchor to the east. Some clouds will roll in from the east, but warm temperatures will stick around.
The LA County Department of Public Health issued a heat advisory for Antelope Valley for Tuesday and Wednesday, when temperatures may reach the triple digits.
Although temperatures are expected to drop slightly over the weekend, officials are still urging residents to take precautions for the heat, such as by drinking enough water and wearing hats and sunscreen.
