Traffic was jammed on the 101 Freeway in Toluca Lake after a structure fire erupted near the Cahuenga Boulevard off-ramp Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire on 4500 Cahuenga Blvd within 24 minutes, but the blaze left high power lines exposed to flames, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The Department of Water and Power was informed of the problem with power lines.
Commuters were warned to expect delays on the eastbound 101 Freeway. Southbound Cahuenga Boulevard was also closed at the 134 Freeway.
