Firefighters attacked a fire Friday at a home in the Mission Hills area.
The fire burned a house and nearby trees at 15614 Simonds St. It was unclear whether the fire started in the trees or house.
There were no reports of injuries.
Firefighters used an ax to chop a hole in the roof of the house, allowing crewmembers to put water on the blaze.
