Homicide detectives on Tuesday were investigating the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were discovered by a family friend inside an Apple Valley home.
Officers were called about 4:20 p.m. Monday to the residence in the 19900 block of State 18 Outer Highway, where the bodies were found by a friend who was checking on them.
Police said the deaths appeared suspicious, but did not provide details.
The man and woman were identified as 95-year-old Louis Giuntini and 92-year-old Rose Giuntini of Apple Valley.
A friend said Louis Giuntini was an Air Force veteran who was married to Rose Giuntini. Neighbors described the couple as “nice people,” who were in good health and had lived in the home for decades.
