A woman died Sunday in a crash on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the 405 Freeway just south of East Wardlow Road about 1:05 p.m., CHP Officer Peter Nicholson said.
Her name was withheld pending notification of kin.
The crash temporarily blocked the number 1 and 2 lanes and the CHP declared a SigAlert.
All lanes were reopened and the SigAlert was cancelled at 5:09 p.m., the CHP said.
