The United Way of Greater Los Angeles is on a mission to permanently break the cycle of poverty for our most vulnerable neighbors: low-income families, students, veterans, and the homeless. That means tackling the big problems by focusing on education, housing, and financial stability, we can attack poverty at its roots to ensure better lives for all Angelenos.
United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ HomeWalk is the county’s largest annual event dedicated to ending homelessness. In the past 10 years, more than 85,000 walkers have raised more than $7.6M to support our homeless neighbors. And we're able to do all of this thanks to your tireless contributions.
Volunteers are vital to HomeWalk’s success. You make the event easy, well-organized, and fun for its participants. Volunteers guide participants through parking and check-in, and support them throughout the walk -- from race start to race finish. To volunteer, click here.
