Designer Collabs: Cheek-ie for Maxine Dillon at Aero & Co.

At this season's Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion Show, we were taken with designer Maxine Dillon's puffy, braided and printed fabric necklaces and belts, which intrigued us on their own, but also contributed to an overall cohesive showcase by the designer.

We found out the accessories are a collab effort between Dillon and label Cheek-ie by Angela Barrow. "We were roommates at FIDM," Dillon told Racked. "She's also a stylist and styles my lookbook. She used my prints and cottons to design the collection." Ranging from around $40-$50 for necklaces and $90-$120 for belts, the accessories are exclusive to boutique Aero & Co. for fall, but will be available nationwide at boutiques that carry Maxine Dillon come spring.

Santogold's also a fan of Cheek-ie—her stylist has been in a couple times to make purchases: "Her favorites are the neon puff and the African print." We're partial to the braided silk belt ($120), and the cream knot braided necklace ($62), which doubles as a belt. [RackedWire]For more stories from Racked LA, go to la.racked.com.
