A crash and fuel spill closed the northbound 5 Freeway early Monday in Elysian Park.
Details about the crash were not immediately available.
At least some lanes are expected to remain closed until midday as road crews work to clean up the fuel spill. Video from NewsChopper4 showed fuel covering all lanes on a stretch of the freeway northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
