The Covina Rotary Club has unfurled 2,000 flags in honor of service members. The event began in 2012 on the fields of Sierra Vista Middle School.

The city's annual parade takes place in Historic Downtown Murrieta/Town Square Park.

Veterans Day Commemoration
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host an event that features live musical entertainment, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display and a program honoring all branches of the military. U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills of the 82nd Airborne will be present for a signing for his book "Tough as They Come: A Memoir" at 11:45 a.m.

Outdoor activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the program will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday

The S.F.V. Veterans Parade begins at the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Visit the Mobile Vietnam Veterans Memorial for the Antelope Valley before it's gone Thursday -- a ceremony will also take place 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Palmdale Amphitheater.

'Remembering Our Fallen' Exhibit
An exhibit memorializing over 700 Californian veterans who died in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001 made its way to Irvine's Civic Center. The exhibit will remain on display until Nov. 20.

Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade
The 19th annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Palm Springs includes a patriotic concert and a fireworks finales. The event is free and open to the public.

Parade at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday
Procession begins at Ramon Road and Palm Canyon Drive and will head northbound on Palm Canyon Drive to Alejo Road.

H.E.R.O.E.S. Veterans Day Ceremony
San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S.' (Helping Establish a Remembrance Of Every Serviceperson) Veterans Day Ceremony will feature guest speakers and San Dimas residents Sgt. Kenneth Fuqua of the U.S. Marine Corps and Ssgt. Alyssa Gomez of the U.S. Air Force. Twenty-eight names will be added to the park's veterans wall.

Veterans Day Ceremony with Sgt. Travis Mills
If you're missing Ssgt. Travis Mills' earlier appearance at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, catch his keynote remarks at a ceremony at the Nixon Foundation. The event will also include a presentation of colors by the First Marine Intelligence Battalion and an invocation by Navy Chaplain Roilynn Williams.
