Four people were injured, including a police officer, during a crash in Santa Ana early Saturday morning, police said.
The collision was reported around 12:30 a.m. near 1st Street and Mountain View, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
All four crash victims were transported to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.
California Highway Patrol was requested to the scene to take over the investigation, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Authorities said 1st Street would remain closed until further notice.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
