Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a man Tuesday morning in East Los Angeles, officials said.

No deputies were hurt in the shooting near East Almanza Lane and Miller Avenue about 1:30 a.m., said Sgt. Harry Drucker of the LA County Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

While responding to a call about a domestic dispute, deputies were flagged down by pedestrians who said they saw a man walking around with a gun.

When deputies found the man, he became aggressive, initiated a fight and pulled out a gun, officials said.

Both deputies then fired shots at the man, who was described as a Hispanic man about 20 to 25 years old, officials said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
