Southern California Celebrates the Fourth of July With Parades, Fireworks

A day of red, white and blue parades turns into a night of spectacular fireworks

Professional fireworks shows can be found Thursday night in communities throughout Southern California.

Safety officials are reminding revelers to take extra precautions when handling fireworks and encouraging them to attend public fireworks displays, instead of trying to create their own.

Only fireworks deemed "Safe and Sane" are allowed in 32 cities in Los Angeles County. To learn if your city is among those municipalities, click here. For more information on how to celebrate safely, visit SafeJuly4th.org

Below is a list of fireworks celebrations across Southern California.
