Bobby Darren Reynolds, a 38-year-old husband and father, was gunned down last year while waiting for a pizza delivery outside his home. The victim's family joined the FBI and Redondo Beach police Tuesday to announce a $10,000 reward to find his killer. Hetty Chang reports for the NBC4 News at Noon on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

The family of a man shot to death while waiting outside for a pizza delivery joined the FBI on Tuesday to announce a $10,000 reward to find his killer nearly a year after the slaying.

Bobby Darren Reynolds, 38, was shot multiple times and found lying in the street on June 21, 2013, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department. He died at a hospital.

Reputed gang member Erick Julian Ortega (pictured below) has been sought by police since the shooting and is the registered owner of a Chrysler found near the crime scene, police said.

The victim's family joined the FBI and Redondo Beach police Tuesday to urge anyone with information on Ortega's whereabouts to come forward.

"Ortega, you can run, but you can't hide forever," Reynolds' mother Bonnie Horne said. "You're going to have to face it for what you've done to our family."

Reynolds was gunned down at a close range while waiting outside a relative's home for a pizza to arrive. His family was inside the house.

"My son got to hear his dad being shot to death in the house," Reynolds' wife Monica said through tears. "(My son) was in the house, luckily he wasn't outside. It makes me wonder, what if my son was shot? Would everyone be sitting there quiet still if my son was shot? I want someone to speak up."

Reynolds leaves behind a 14-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son.

"Bobby was specifically targeted," Redondo Beach Police Chief Joe Leonardi said. "He was shot multiple times by a suspect who approached him silently, callously, and apparently without warning from behind and shot him dead."

Two others were arrested in connection with the killing and later released.
