The legendary Troubadour club in West Hollywood has been the place for serious music fans to enjoy cutting-edge acts since it opened in 1957. It's been an LA destination for some of music's greatest talents. Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Hall and Oats, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have all performed. Carly Simon, opening for Cat Stevens, met James Taylor for the first time at the Troubadour, and John Lennon was once escorted out of the club for heckling the Smothers Brothers.
