NBC4 Southern California returns for the third consecutive year as the presenting media sponsor of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, organized by the American Cancer Society. Join NBC4 Anchor Carolyn Johnson and Reporter Lolita Lopez as they host the opening cerermony and kick off the walk at 7:15 a.m. at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
Be sure to stop by the NBC4 booth directly next to the main stage to meet Carolyn and Lolita and take photos at the NBC4 photo station with fellow walkers.
More than 12,000 participants are expected this year to walk along Figueora St. in support of survivors, patients and to raise awareness and resources for breast cancer research.
