It's like one minute we're sitting here, not doing a thing, wishing we were doing a thing, anything, but not paying too much to do it, and then along comes summer, or at least June, which is unofficially the start of summer, and there are free events aplenty. Free jazz at Hollywood & Highland, free tunes on Thursday and Fridays at Farmers Market, free artwalks, and now, free movies.
The Grove is screening recent rom-com "He's Just Not That Into You," for free, on Tuesday, June 2. Movie's at 9PM, and the event surrounding it -- Girls Night Out at the Grove -- starts at 6PM. We'd call this particular flick star-studded, but it probably goes beyond that, seeing as how the poster had like 98 stars on it, big stars, or a really high number. Including that patootie Justin Long, who was a slice of heaven in "Drag Me to Hell" -- yep, we said it.
