This fall, Stacey Clark, the stunning 25 year old designer behind L.A label Odilon, known for her high-design incorporation of Italian textiles and leather accents into sleek silhouettes, debuted her spring 2012 collection at fashion week in N.Y. Inspired by '90s-era Venice, Francoise Hardy, and grunge and skate culture, the collection — chock full of bright blues, canary yellows, and high whites — received rave reviewes from the fashion media and the greater design community alike.
We caught up with the Canadian-born designer — named one of “12 new designers to watch around the globe” by Women’s Wear Daily — in her gorgeous Los Feliz studio to get a first glimpse of some of the stunning made-in-L.A. spring collection items that didn't make it to the presentation (five words: hand-crocheted leather knit sweater). Click through to get Stacey's take on which pieces are sure to be huge hits at L.A. shops this spring.
