OC Weekend: Irish Fair, Surf Barbecue, Fancy Cars

GREAT AMERICAN IRISH FAIR: The harp competition intrigues, and also makes us ponder why we don't have more harp-based pursuits in our life. We'll remedy that, but first, we're headed for Irvine, and this mondo, music-filled festival. Dance, pipers, and a village full of Ireland's myriad stories are part of the two-day to-do. Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st. Irvine Meadows Fairgrounds

CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL SURFING DAY: Surfing and barbecue: two peas in a pod. Hand in hand. Together forever. Jack's Surfboards in Dana Point gets that, and they're firing up various grillage to honor International Surfing Day. Which is June 20th, in case you forgot to mark your calendar. How are you celebrating?

CONCOURS SHOW: If you and Dad missed the recent car-related outings at the Rose Bowl and Farmers Market, the sleek machines are prowling into Anaheim. A cool, lots-to-look-at, get-in-free pre-Father's Day event (gotta follow it up with lunch out, of course). Anaheim, June 20th
