2 Shot in Pasadena Neighborhood

A teen was critically wounded and a man in his 30s suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound in a shooting Saturday in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena.

Police received several calls about shots fired shortly before 12:35 a.m. in the 400 block of Parke Street, where officers arriving at the location found two male victims in the street suffering from gunshot wounds, said Pasadena police Lt. Jesse Carrillo.

Paramedics rushed the shooting victims to an area hospital, Carrillo said.

A witness says three people pulled up in a car, got out and an unidentified woman fired several shots before jumping into the getaway car.

"The preliminary investigation suggests this was not a random act of violence, and the motive remains unknown," he said. "Suspects have not been identified."

The motive remains unclear.

Pasadena police asked anyone with any information regarding the shooting to call them at 626-744-4241.
