One person was killed in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting Sunday night on a freeway in South Los Angeles.
Three people were in a vehicle on the southbound 110 Freeway when rounds were fired from another vehicle. The driver pulled into a fuel station off Florence Avenue, where a passenger in the rear seat died, police said.
The victim was identified only as a 48-year-old man.
The southbound 110 Freeway was closed for about 30 minutes during a search for bullet casings.
No arrests were reported. A detailed description of the gunman's vehicle was not immediately available.
