‘Companion' of Las Vegas Gunman Located By Police

UPDATE 3:42 a.m.: Investigators say they have located Danely. No additional details were immediately available.

Police are looking for a woman described as a 'companion' of the alleged Las Vegas gunman who killed more than 20 and injured more than 100 in a shooting on The Strip late Sunday night.

Marilou Danley was being sought for questioning, Los Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said.

A 2017 Hyundai Tuscon SUV with Nevada license plate 114-B40 could be the car she is traveling in, according to police.

She is described as an Asian woman, 4 feet and 11 inches tall and about 111 pounds.

Danley was known to be associated with the gunman, identifed by NBC News as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, a town just outside of Las Vegas.

The gunman was in a hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel when he opened fire with what appears to be an automatic weapon toward the crowd of thousands attending a country music concert across The Strip.
