A dozen burglars took over $140,000 worth of glasses from an optometry in Laguna Hills in just four minutes in late May, making this the fifth business the group have targeted in the area, according to officials.
"What attracts them is the ease to be able to sell those things," Lt. Lane Lagaret of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, said. "There are no serial numbers."
The thieves are believed to be from Los Angeles County, but have targeted numerous South Orange County businesses for the past eight months, according to officials.
Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying any thief from the group.
