69-Year-Old Man in Diamond Bar Stabbed to Death Inside Home

A man in his late 60s was fatally stabbed at a home in Diamond Bar and authorities searched Monday for his killer.

The unidentified man's body was removed from the home in the 21200 block of Trigger Lane about 1:15 a.m., according to a news photographer at the scene.

The man's body was found about 3 p.m. Monday when "a resident came home and discovered the victim," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

"When deputies arrived at the location, paramedics were already on scene," according to a sheriff's department statement. "Deputies found the victim located inside the residence had sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper torso."

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff's department reported.

"We're just trying to find out more, so we'll be interviewing neighbors, if anybody heard anything," Sheriff's Homicide Bureau Lt. Charles Calderaro said.

No weapon was discovered.
